    Terms of Use

    1.1 In these terms and conditions the following words shall have thea following meanings:

    • “Site” means this web-site
    • “We, Us, Our” AMCO, whose principal place of business is at 290 North Queen Street Suite 218, Toronto, Ontario M9C 5L2.

    4.1. We provide the information on the Site for general guidance and for listing our services/previous work.

    4.2. These terms of service relate to use in, Canada and we reserve the right to restrict or prohibit access to any person not based within the jurisdiction of Canada and accept no liability if You access the Site from outside this jurisdiction.

    8.1. We own or license the copyright in all the material that appears on the Site.

    8.2. You may download, store and use the material on the Site for Your own personal use and research. You may not republish, retransmit, redistribute or otherwise make this material available to any other party or make the same available on any website, on-line service or bulletin board of Your own or of any other party or make the same available in hard copy or on any other media without Our express prior written consent.

    9. Internet security

    9.1. The Internet is not a secure medium and we provide no guarantees as to the reliability or security of the Site, or that it will be continuously available, error or virus free.

    9.2. If you identify any error on the site or any material that you consider to be offensive, indecent, dishonest, inaccurate or illegal please immediately e-mail us at amco@amcontario.ca/ and we will take such action as we in our absolute discretion see fit.

    We comply with the Privacy regulations for Canada.

    11.1. We hereby exclude to the fullest extent permitted by law any liability of whatsoever nature arising directly or indirectly as a result of your use of the Site.

    12.1. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions of these terms and conditions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected.

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to access to the Site supersede any previous agreement or understanding and may not be varied except in writing by us. All other terms and conditions express or implied by statute or otherwise, are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

    Privacy Policy

    AMCO may collect information such as your name, phone number or e-mail address. We would only obtain this type of information if you supply it by sending us an e-mail, submitting a general inquiry form, or registering in a secure portion of the site.

    You should be aware of the inherent risks of interception when communicating with others on-line using unencrypted e-mail. Visit our Terms of Use Policy for further details. Visitors’ personal information received via e-mail is provided only to our Office personnel, who require the information to respond to inquiries. We do not use this information for any other purpose.

    AMCO uses “cookies” to improve the quality of your visit to the AMCO site by providing you with personalized information and features. Cookies are anonymous; AMCO does not know the name, email address, phone number, or home address of anyone who visits our site. AMCO does not sell or rent any information that we gather through the use of cookies.

    All personal information created, held or collected by AMCO is protected under the Federal Privacy Act Our servers automatically log information about visits to our Web site in the normal course of establishing and maintaining Web connections. Server logs record statistical information, such as visitors’ IP addresses, type of operating systems, time and duration of visit, Web pages requested, and identify categories of visitors by items such as domains and browser types.

    These statistics are reported in aggregate form to our Web and communications staff, and are used to improve our Web site and ensure that it provides the optimal Web experience for visitors. We do not link server log information to any other data in a way that would enable us to identify individual visitors. However, we may review server logs for security purposes, for example, to detect intrusions into our system. The possibility therefore exists that server log data, which contains visitors’ IP addresses, could in instances of criminal malfeasance be used to trace and identify individuals.
